This Privacy Policy applies to Representations: Binary & Hex on iOS and iPadOS.
Representations: Binary & Hex is an offline iOS and iPadOS reference app for browsing and searching number-base, Unicode scalar value, and UTF-8 representation data. The app is designed to work locally on your device and does not transmit user data off the device.
The app does not collect user data. For this policy, “collect” means transmitting user data off your device to the developer or to a third party.

The app includes a read-only database packaged with the application. Browsing, filtering, searching, and copying values are performed locally on your device.
Any ordinary on-device app files created by iOS, iPadOS, or the app remain on your device. The developer does not receive, access, or back up those files.
When you tap to copy a value, your device places that value on the system clipboard. The app does not transmit clipboard contents to the developer or to third parties. Clipboard contents may be visible to iOS, iPadOS, keyboards, and other apps according to your device and operating-system behavior.
The app does not send app data to the developer or to third parties.
If you open the privacy policy link, developer website, or an email address from the app or store listing, that action is handled outside the app by your browser, email app, operating system, or the App Store. Those services are governed by their own privacy practices.
If you voluntarily contact the developer by email or through the developer website, the information you provide is used only to read, manage, and respond to that communication. The app itself does not collect that information.

The app minimizes privacy and security risk by operating offline, avoiding unnecessary permissions, and not including advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs.
The app is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect information from children or from any other users.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. If it is updated, the new version will be posted at the same privacy policy uniform resource locator (URL), and the effective date above will be revised.
